Black and white darkroom print with oil paint.

This work was created in 2014 while I was in residence at Djerassi Resident Artist Program in California. The image is a medium-format black and white film photograph of a lifeguard stand, and it was taken on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. The photograph was printed on fiber-based paper, and I colorized it by hand with oil paint. This item is one of a kind.

The print is 10x12 inches, and the framed piece is 17x21 inches.
